Step back in time and into San Francisco’s early days as you visit the Conservatory of Flowers in Golden Gate Park. An icon to Victorian architecture, the Conservatory is the oldest existing public wood-and-glass conservatory in North America and so much more! This historic facility, boasts five Galleries with exotic plants and flowers from all over the world. Each Gallery highlights unique plants and flowers, custom metalwork and architectural beauty found nowhere else in the Bay Area.
This unique one-hour experience includes:
• A dedicated Conservatory Docent to greet guests and provide a brief history of the Conservatory and its plant collections.
• Exploration of the Conservatory galleries and exhibitions at guests’ own pace with access to a dedicated Docent and a complimentary self-guided booklet (English only at this time).
• A selection of plants and cuttings picked fresh by a Conservatory Horticulturalist and made accessible to the group.
• A commemorative gift from our gift shop.
